Workshop InformationOver 20 years of experience in family development and therapeutic practice
Steve Young brings over two decades of Family Safeguarding and Early Help frontline support experience, working collaboratively with families to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes. His extensive background with a Local Authority in the East of England, combined with advanced therapeutic training, provides a unique foundation for evidence-based family education.
Steve's approach is grounded in respect for parents as capable decision-makers, providing scientifically-established information as a springboard for your own research and choices. This adult-to-adult methodology builds on existing family strengths rather than prescribing one-size-fits-all solutions.
Steve Young is currently employed by a Local Authority in the East of England within Children's Services. YoungFamilyLife Ltd operates as a completely separate private practice. If you have any current or recent involvement with Children's Services in the last 5 years, or other possible involvement (close friend or family member involvement), please mention this during your enquiry to ensure appropriate boundaries are maintained.
